Boston Common Frog Pond Skating

The Frog Pond converts to an outdoor skating rink each winter, mid-November through early March. Skate rentals on-site, fire pits, hot chocolate from the pavilion. Reliable evening date even in deep winter — skating at downtown's heart with the State House lit up behind. 21+ pre-rink ritual: any cannabis consumption needs to happen in private. The Common is state-owned land where consumption is prohibited.
