What to expect
Boston's New Year's Eve has run since 1976 and is entirely free with no purchase required: ice sculpture on the Common, performances across Back Bay and Copley, and midnight fireworks. Adults 21+ should note Massachusetts prohibits public cannabis consumption, and the Common is public space on the busiest night of its year.
