What to expect
Three days and nearly 12,000 rowers on the Charles, October 16 through 18. The Weeks Footbridge and the Cambridge bank near Anderson Bridge are the classic viewing spots and both are free. Roughly 225,000 people come through, so Harvard Square and Allston are effectively closed to cars all weekend.
