South End Open Studios 2026

South End Open Studios opens 200+ artist studios across the South End neighborhood for one weekend in mid-September — painters, photographers, sculptors, ceramicists, designers all open their working spaces to the public. Free, walkable, and one of the best ways to actually meet Boston artists. SOWA building anchors the weekend. T to Back Bay or Tufts Medical Center. Adults 21+ should consume only in private — public sidewalk consumption is prohibited under MA law.
